An Antebellum cookhouse, from a plantation near the
birthplace of Texas, has been transformed into a rustic and
glamorous juke joint that we call the “Sugar Shack House of
Blues.” The two room cabin is complete with a mock night
club, offering your own dance floor, your own small stage
with Fender guitar, amp and 5 hours of custom recorded blues
music to transport you to a hideaway in the “backwoods of
the South” where the blues was born. The queen bedroom, or
what we call the “Manager’s Office,” is swank and sleek and
uptown, with a black two-person Jacuzzi style tub that
dominates the red walls, certain to captivate you as you
escape into a world of soulful stories told through the
powerful magic of so many classic songs. A large screened-in
porch, nestled in the thickets, gives an authentic touch as
you enter this world of truth and art and history and love. |
